Jakub’s post made me to think about 7 things most people may not know about me and here’s a short version of those 7 things:

1. I love science-fiction and fantasy books to that point, that I’m buying more than I’m able to read. Currently my collection consists of about 150 books, from which I’ve read 60 so far. Additionally I don’t like to read one book at a time, usually it’s about 5 books simultaneously.
2. Before starting my computer science studies I’ve been trying to be an architect, being inspired by old friend from high school. Unfortunately I’ve failed and became IT guy.
3. I’ve made a short movie with friends about “mutated zombies from x-dimension”, it was so bad, that we didn’t want to watch it (at least I didn’t want). I’ve been playing main character, the mutated zombie. I still remember how I was running in the woods with ax instead of my arm. Original and only copy was overwritten with motorcycle speedway event.
4. In high school, I’ve started with friends a computer games e-magazine. We’ve even been thinking of getting official ISBN number for that. It lasted for few years, ultimately vanishing from existence just because we didn’t had time anymore.
5. While working in Gery Design (former owner of Gery.pl portal) as a first in Polish internet, I’ve made truly customizable web 2.0 site (www.startowy.com), with advanced (at that time) JavaScripts to manage layout. Trivia, we’ve launched few months earlier than NetVibes but 1 month later than Google customized home page.
6. I’m listed in credits for game Xpand Rally as quality engineer. I’ve been testing the game prior to release for two months in Techland (game developer).
7. I hate getting up early, my favorite time to wake up is around 10 am which results in being late each day at work (maybe not each, but frequently). This results in awkward situations when I’m alone in the office around 9pm or so.
